Cases of child abuse more rampant than we know, parliament to discuss issue

PHILIPSBURG - A Central Committee meeting of Parliament is planned for Monday at 2pm dealing with the matter of a Centralized Registration System for Child Abuse.

Oldien Bryson-Pantophlet President of Safe Haven, an organisation dealing with abuse cases stated there is definitely a need for a registration system on the island.

Although we are a small community there is the reality that the problem exists and more often than we know about.
