PHILIPSBURG - Aurillio Baily Vice President and Derie Leonard President of the Windward Island Civil Servants Union (WICSU) are both elated with the signing of the Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) Monday for the employees of the airport.

Baily stated that as far as the air traffic controllers are concerned, they have arrived.

He also stated that they are looking forward to changing the image of unionism by becoming real partners with the PJIA.

President Leonard stated that one of the areas in which the union compromised in order to build the relationship with the company and provide for long term employment is the area of financial compensation.

They are however looking forward to increased training opportunities.
