PHILIPSBURG - On Sunday afternoon on the Bush road the traffic department had to attend to another accident this time it was a lone car accident.

PHILIPSBURG - Minister of Justice Roland Duncan of St. Maarten on Friday took pleasure in welcoming the Minister of Justice of Curacao Elmer Wilsoe, Minster of Justice of Aruba Arthur Dowers and the Minster of Immigration of Aruba Oslin Sevinger.
The Ministers are all here on the island as participants in the Tri-partite meetings on Saturday and Sunday as part of the Ministerial Conference of Justice Ministers hosted by The Ministry of Justice of St. Maarten.
The conference is seen as an important event as it deals with many of the core services of the island, an island which will celebrate its first anniversary as a new Country within the Dutch Kingdom.
Seventeen points have been slated for discussion on Saturday, among them the Coast Guard, the human traffic between the islands and joint police training.
The Dutch Minister of Immigration will also form part of the talks within the frame work of the Ministerial Conference of Justice Ministers on Sunday focusing on the matter of the traffic of persons within the Kingdom.
The four Ministers of Justice of The Dutch Kingdom will have their final meeting on Monday at which time seventeen (17) points have been slated for discussion including pending legislation including the BOB law.
The conference will come to an end on Monday afternoon.
