WILLEMSTAD — The American FOL-base at airport Hato cannot escape local and international discussion.

This is currently fostered by particularly the Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez, who had recently expressed himself negatively again on the activities of the American air force so close to Venezuela.

The American base had stationed F-16 fighter planes here in the past. Nowadays, it mainly regards aircrafts, which are specialized in gathering information.

With that, it officially regards the combating of drug trade from Columbia. Venezuela openly doubts this and considers the Americans here as a threat.

Chavez knows with all the Drug trade he has going on in the Caribbean he is so
affraid that the DEA catch up with him so to every time see`s any us fighters or
any kind of plains in curacao he cant sleep he cant eat.

to make it short the
us dont even wast thier time spying on him.
Chavez stop the Drug trade in the
caribbean we dont want DRUGS...

Chavez needs a war to keep his country backing him. Its the same as always. The
poor man goes to war so that the rich man (Chavez) can keep his live as it is.
Humans are stupid. Don't let yourself be fooled by left wing politicians. They
want the best.... For them selves.... Think further. Ayatholla's do the same
thing. Keep the people stupid, give them an enemey and you control the country.
Life is so simple. Just blame the U.S. for everything, shout as loud as you can
so no-one sees your own dirt!

Yes, but it is not restricted to left wing politicians. Where you see people or
organisations with power, be it politicians left or right, multinationals and
country's,their own position has the priority.

Yanqui-bashing used to be a popular passtime in South America. It takes
attention away from frustration at problems in one's own country, problems that
the local leaders are incapable or incompetent of solving their own problems.
Now El Jefe Chavez is at it again. It is high time that democracy comes back to
Venezuela and that senor Chavez retires to his fancy finca.
