Cees van Dolderen passes on

PHILIPSBURG - Cornelis (Cees) van Dolderen the founder of the Motiance Dance School on St. Maarten, died in Holland on Monday.

Cees played a major role in the development of dance on St. Maarten and as such, he will be missed by hundreds of people on the island.

His family will remember his life solemly on Saturday March 13th at the crematorium Slingerbos 2, Ede in the Netherlands.

lieve Cees, een heel bijzondere man.
Cees was een voorbeeld voor velen. Voor
mij een voorbeeld van vriendelijkheid, liefde, gericht zijn op anderen en
doorzetten, altijd doorzetten al is de tegenslag nog zo groot.
Daarnaast was
hij ook gewoon een hele lieve, gezellige man. Ik zal hem missen.

Allemaal
heel veel sterkte bij het verliezen van Cees.
In het bijzonder heel veel kracht
voor zijn familie die in korte tijd weer een diebare verliezen.

The light you shone on Earth, I'm sure is shining even brighter now. You were a
loving and caring person and kind and helpful to all you met. Many knew you as
the president of the Motiance Dance Theater, but I also knew you as a teacher
and an aspiring lawyer -- you would have done a fantastic job. You were very
intelligent. I enjoyed our occasional chats together, which were always
uplifting. Needless to say, we will miss you dearly, but you are now no longer
suffering and for that we are thankful. Cees, you will always hold a special
place in our hearts. Sleep on, dear friend, sleep on.
