PHILIPSBURG, Willemstad - On 30 January 2012, a contingent of 35 volunteers from the 429th Expeditionary Operations Squadron located at the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) spent the afternoon cleaning the beach and the areas alongside JFK Blvd and local beaches near the Holiday Beach Resort corridor.

The men and women of the USFOL celebrated the rich treasure that is Curaçao's natural beauty.

They regularly work with the community to help protect its unique natural resources benefiting both residents and tourists alike.

A USFOL volunteer observed, "Being able to clean-up the corridor that we use every week for running was a privilege.

Giving back to the people of this country who have supported us and our time here was an honor."

USFOL personnel have been long-time advocates for the local community and this was yet another outstanding effort to promote a continued healthy environment and well-being for the citizens and habitat of Curaçao.
