PHILIPSBURG - The financial losses for Winair as a result of Curacao being downgraded to level 2 by the American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) cannot yet be quantified.

According to Michael Cleaver the Managing Director of Windward Island Airways International (Winair), the airline is still maintaining their interline relationship with American carriers although the code sharing agreement was forced to be canceled.

The adjustment process since being downgraded to level 2, started for the airline since Friday.

Cleaver is also supportive of the efforts of the Minister of Aviation Franklin Meyers to fast track the development of the St. Maarten Civil Aviation Administration.

More can now be heard via PodCast.
