In a press release this week the airline stated that having received the necessary licenses required to fly to St. Maarten, the airline will launch sales in roughly two weeks.
The new service to St Maarten is special for the new airline as it marks their first entry into the Dutch market.
REDjet also revealed that there are plans to launch more routes from St. Maarten to other destinations.
The route will provide the only non-stop jet service between St. Maarten and Barbados and it will operate twice weekly, with a day service on Saturdays.
Aviation Minister Franklin Meyers stated that the REDjet service will add to the diversity of connection services that is available on St. Maarten.
