PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - Minister with the responsibility for Finance, Roland Tuitt made it emphatically clear that government does not have any intention to raise the Turn over Tax (T. O. T).
However, speaking at the weekly press conference on Wednesday and in addressing that subject, the Finance Minister, stated that a new tax structure was being developed and within the new structure, they have no intention to raise any taxes, but rather to move from direct taxes to indirect taxes.
