PHILIPSBURG - There Editor; it is with great pleasure for me to say a special happy birthday to Mr. Martin Luther King on behalf of the StMartin Nation Building Foundation (SNBF) and myself the Patriot Miguel Arrindell. For us we celebrate a birthday of a man who was of character that practice what the bible said, that we should love one another.
He was a man that stood for peace equality for all no matter what color of the skin a person may be. He believed in freedom for all in the manner God intended it to be. God rest his soul in peace.
As for black people, I hope that they follow what he teach and practice and not just to say he was a Negro, the color of the skin is not important. What is important is the message of freedom, equal justice and equal opportunity for all people.
That is what I love the man for. If our people (Negro Race) really believe in what he said, then they will and should respect their black women and treat them as a human and not abuse them. They will also practice personal responsibility which means taking care of your family that is a value.
The Blackman must also stop blaming the white man for his problem and look at himself as to see how he can advance himself in life. Our black men must be more responsible to stop making children with 4 and five women which they know they cannot support.
Mr. Martin Luther King will have never approved of such behavior. If people really appreciate Mr. Martin Luther King on his birthday then they should start treating all people as human and respect your fellow man.
We appreciate Mr. Martin Luther King for his outstanding contribution he did for this world not forgetting the stand and strive for all Negro people throughout this world. Remember the wages of sin is death and the fear of God is to hate evil. God bless all people in StMaarten.
