Pelican appeals verdict, files petition against execution of judgment

PHILIPSBURG - Attorney representing the Simpson-bay Resort Management Company, Attorney at law Jairo Bloem confirmed on Tuesday they have filed a petition requesting a stay on the execution of the judgment against the resort on behalf of the works.

The request is based on the fact that the Simpson Bay Resort has appealed this latest verdict and the stay is being requested until after a verdict has been handed down in the appeal.
