PHILIPSBURG - It is with deep regret that the Police Department (KPSSS) announce the death of our dear colleague, Siegfried Cerilo MARIA, better known as "Fichie", who passed away at approximately 3am this morning at the A.M Edwards Medical Center in The Bottom, Saba.

The late Sigfried Cerilo MARIA better known as "Fichie" was born on the 30th of July 1950 on the island of Curacao but served most of his police career with the Police Force on Saba.

Condolences goes out to his family, friends and the entire Police Force of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, who are left to mourn. May he rest in peace.

Details on funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as it is made available.
